Biography

 

Aurélien Ruellet, born in 1983, received a multidisciplinary training in humanities in the ENS-Lyon, and holds a teaching qualification in history. He teaches early modern history to undergraduate students at François-Rabelais University in Tours, where he is currently preparing a PhD. He is associate researcher of the CESR (Centre for Advanced Studies in the Renaissance). His doctoral research, supervised by Pr. Gérald Chaix, deals with the scientific and technological patronage in France and England (1625-1666).
