Speaker: François GUINOT, Chair of the National Academy of Technologies of France (NATF)
François Guinot graduated with an engineering diploma, followed by two Ph.Ds (in Physical Science and in Economics and Business Management). He was President of the National Academy of Technologies of France until December 2008, and is currently Vice-President of the French Federation of Chemical Scientists and Engineers, Board Member of the CNRS and several industrial companies

Steve Woolgar is Professor of Marketing and Head of the Science and Technology Studies (STS) group at the James Martin Institute for Science and Civilisation, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In 2008 he was awarded the Bernal Prize. His numerous books include "Virtual Society? Technology, Cyberbole, Reality" (Oxford University Press, 2002) and "Laboratory Life: the Social Construction of Scientific Facts" (Sage, 1979), with Bruno Latour, which was translated into Chinese in 2006.
