Anne Abeillé is Professor of linguistics at the University of Paris-Diderot (Paris 7)Â
and a member of the Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle. She has published extensively on formal syntax, on syntactic theory and on the grammar of Romance languages. She is a member of the "Grande Grammaire du Français"Â
project (http://www.llf.cnrs.fr/Docs/SSF-5-fr.php). She was awarded the CNRS Silver Medal in 2007 for her research and recently published a Dictionnaire duVélib (Editions du Panama, 2007).
