Last Friday Frédéric Thibault-Starzyk, Director of the Maison Française d’Oxford (MFO) and Jakob Vogel, Head of the Centre Marc Bloch (CMB) in Berlin signed an agreement, which will allow both organisations to intensify their collaboration and develop new projects.
The aim is also to foster the mobility of researchers and PhD students between Berlin and Oxford.
Both institutions are looking forward to working together, strenghtening the links and promoting international exchange in research, and more specifically in the humanities and social sciences.
The agreement is valid for a period of 5 years.
Founded on 9 October 1992, the CMB is a Franco-German research centre for humanities and social sciences based in Berlin. Like the MFO, it is an UMIFRE (joint unit of French research institutes abroad) and a CNRS research unit. More information: https://cmb.hu-berlin.de/
