Summer 2019. Freshly graduated, Madeleine travels to Corsica with her lover Antoine to prepare for the entrance exam to France’s most prestigious postgraduate political programme. United by their strongly left-wing political convictions, they are focused on the future they imagine together. But on a deserted country road, an unexpected encounter sets their lives on an entirely different course.
