The field of Occitan studies has long been known for interdisciplinary working, and it is with a view to furthering this that the second annual Occitan Studies Day will be held on 11th May 2024. This one-day conference aims to bring together researchers working on topics related to Occitan from across various disciplines (including, but not limited to, linguistics, literature, folklore, and history) to present and discuss their work and encourage collaboration amongst all those working with the language in the UK and beyond. The event's invited speaker will be Dr Xavier Bach of the University of Toulouse.
