Anne Friederike Müller-Delouis is an associate professor (maître de conférences) at the University of Orléans, France (member of POLEN / Centre for contemporary political studies, EA 4710).
After completing her studies in history and anthropology at the Universities of Tübingen, Paris-Sorbonne and Cambridge (PhD in 2001), she held a position as a postdoctoral research fellow at King’s College London before joining the University of Orléans. In recent years, she served as vice-president of the university, in charge of international relations, and as coordinator of a European University alliance.
Her research focuses on political metaphors, cultural memory, and the history of anthropology. She currently works on post-1989 reconfigurations of German-speaking minorities in Southeast Europe.
