Please tell us about your research project.
My research project focuses on Jewish presence in Apulia mentioned in Latin archival sources from the 11th to the 15th centuries. The main aim is to define the juridical status of Jewish communities, with particular reference to their documentary production and practices.
Could you please tell us a bit more about your scholarship/exchange programme?
I am staying in Oxford within the framework of the existing partnership between the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris and the Maison Française d’Oxford. I am also a visiting student at the OCHJS Oxford Center for Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
First impressions of Oxford/the University?
Oxford offers a wonderful international intellectual environment. We all benefit from constant interaction with colleagues from different backgrounds and expertise. I am grateful to the MFO for such a unique experience.
