Please tell us about your research project.
I am a PhD Student in Theatre Studies, I work on the adaptation of ancient epics on contemporary stages. I am finishing my doctoral thesis, and I came to Oxford to enrich my corpus, and to explore a queer/gender perspective.
Could you please tell us a bit more about your scholarship/exchange programme?
My stay was made possible thanks to the partnership between the Maison Française d’Oxford and the Université Grenoble Alpes, more specifically the Maison de la Création et de l’Innovation (MaCI). I received a grant as a part of the GATES-MaCI project (Grenoble ATtractiveness and ExcellenceS) – International Excellence in the Humanities Programme 2023.
First impressions of Oxford/the University?
Oxford is an incredible place to interact with other researchers' communities, and all the scholars that I've met were welcoming and happy to engage in discussions. The MFO is a great place too. Oxford and its numerous libraries offer amazing spaces to work, and the cultural life is also highly enjoyable.
