Anne-Sophie Gabillas studied in France and Italy for her Master’s and doctoral studies in History of Art. She then moved to Germany, where she first worked for the Institut Français d’Allemagne in Mainz as Culture and Communications Assistant, organising bilingual cultural events, talks, conferences, exhibitions and film screenings. She also managed workshops for various museums in Frankfurt am Main. Later, she was in charge of communications at a bilingual school in Frankfurt, the Lycée Français Victor Hugo, which belongs to the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE).
Since 2017 she has been responsible for communications and outreach at the Maison Française d’Oxford, where she participates in organising events as well as the cinema programme and mainly oversees communications (website, newsletter, social media and print).
