My name is Clément Lasselin. I am a 3rd year PhD student working on bioenergy governance at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My co-supervisors are Sébastien Barot (ecology), Anouk Barberousse (philosophy of science), and Leslie-Anne Duvic-Paoli (environmental law). I work on epistemic relations between scientists (ecologists, climatologists, and engineers) and lawmakers, examining how scientific knowledge, beliefs, and uncertainties about bioenergy are or should be shared to develop sustainable production systems. This requires an understanding of the diversity of possible impacts, scale, and production technologies at stake. I'm here to talk to Oxford researchers dealing with similar issues or using similar approaches.
